We are looking to hire this candidate in one of our four offices: Atlanta, Georgia, Jacksonville, Florida, Raleigh, North Carolina or Charleston, South Carolina. Requirements

  • Prioritize effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner in writing, as well as verbally.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of access control system architecture, system components, communication protocols, and card technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of video surveillance system architecture, camera technologies, and recording platforms.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of intrusion detection system architecture, system components and functionality.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security communication systems architecture, system components and technologies, including radio, intercom, public address systems and local area networks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or Emergency Management preferred.
  • CSC, PSP or CPP is required.
  • Five to Ten (5 to 10) years of progressive experience in physical security management and/or the design of security systems is required.
  • Experience with risk and vulnerability assessments is required.
  • Ability to travel at least 20% is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of the design and construction process is preferred.
  • Experience with network design to support security systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Risk Analysis: Conduct high-level Threat, Vulnerability, and Assets Analysis to determine Security Risks (A.K,A. Security Risk Assessment or Vulnerability Assessment) to identify gaps in protection.
  • Facility Hardening: Oversee site hardening projects applying vehicle barriers, ballistic rated materials, etc. to harden the site.
  • Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED): Apply CPTED principles to deter criminal activity.
  • Strategic Planning: Creating, implementing, and maintaining security policies, protocols, and systems.
  • Advisory Role: Providing expert recommendations to management on enhancing security posture and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Technology Management: Lead the selection and vendor management of state-of-the-art hardware, ensuring it meets compliance and budget requirements.
  • Incident Response: Investigating breaches, evaluating security procedures, existing countermeasures, and developing contingency plans.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Audit sites to ensure adherence to regulations such as auditing compliance with ISC or DHS requirements.
  • System Design & Integration: Architect (design) comprehensive physical security systems, including Access Control, Video Surveillance (VMS), and Intrusion Detection.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior consultants and security staff to ensure professional excellence across the organization.
