Allied Universal is hiring a Physical Security Administrator. The Administrator is responsible for management of the badging process and personnel, coordinate daily work assignments and overall administration of physical security systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive industry and/or public sector experience in installation, service, and administration of security systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend regulations, correspondence, and provider's instructions, rules and regulations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues
  • Experience managing projects

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • Industry experience in project management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Technical certifications
  • Experience with Genetec, Everbridge, Envoy, Kaseware

Responsibilities

  • Manage the badging process for a high-profile client and supervise daily tasks of badging personnel
  • Program, test, and commission new or reconfigured security devices and systems
  • Oversee issuance, activation, and deactivation of ID badges, keys, and vehicle permits
  • Lead preventative maintenance and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for repairs and upgrades
  • Drive system upgrades, alarm reduction initiatives, and lifecycle planning
  • Compile and evaluate security data, trends, and system performance metrics
  • Manage access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, key control, and related technologies
  • Align security systems with company policies, licensing, and regulatory standards
  • Handle hiring, placement, career development, and performance improvement for direct reports
  • Assist with incident response, event security, training, documentation, and inventory management

Benefits

  • Pay: $65-000 - 72,000 annually

  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
