As a PhySec-Account Manager it is crucial to driving the growth of our Physical Security Division by expanding our existing customer base and acquiring new clients throughout the greater Houston area. We collaborate with leading manufacturers in the industry, including Verkada, Genetec, Hanwha, i-Pro, APC, Vertiv, and others, to offer comprehensive solutions to our customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in security, data center, or building technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of integrated technology systems and their business impact on clients.
  • Excellent analytical abilities for gathering information about prospective customers' business processes, critical success factors, and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in delivering presentations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within the sales organization and alongside other functions such as Marketing, Sales Operations, and System Engineering.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset, competitive spirit, and a strong drive to achieve top performance.

Responsibilities

  • Sell the full range of security solutions, including Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection, to clients across healthcare, K-12, commercial, and industrial markets.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals as established by the company.
  • Follow up on referrals and pursue new leads to expand the customer base.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional services to existing clients.
  • Present and demonstrate security, data center, low voltage, and related technologies effectively to potential customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle with strategic insight, ensuring accountability for outcomes.
  • Apply a solutions-oriented and consultative approach to sales, aligning proposals with the specific business requirements of each customer.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with Vendor Sales Representatives to pursue joint sales opportunities within the territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline information using CRM tools.
