Southwood Children’s Behavioral Healthcare is the region’s only behavioral health hospital solely dedicated to providing treatment specifically for children and adolescents. Since its inception in 1984, Southwood has emerged as a leader in the deliverance of psychiatric services to youth and their families. After starting out by providing traditional acute inpatient care, Southwood has grown to include long-term residential treatment centers, as well as community-based and educational services as part of the comprehensive levels of care that we offer.
