About The Position

APE teachers provide fitness and health instruction to chidlren from the ages of three to 22 with a variety of disabilities. This individual will need to be able to adapt curriculum, participate on a multi-disciplinary team, and be able to evaluate and develop programming for children whose disabilities range from mild to profound.

Requirements

• Must have a valid and registered Illinois PEL with a degree in physical education and at least one course in adapted P.E.
