GCCS grew out of Guadalupe Centers’ educational programs — part of the longest continuously operating agency serving the Latinx community in the United States since 1919. The Physical Education/Health Teacher is responsible for delivering a comprehensive, standards-based program that promotes physical fitness, health, and overall student well-being. This role engages students in physical activities while also providing instruction in health education, including topics such as nutrition, mental health, personal wellness, and healthy decision-making. The teacher fosters a safe, inclusive environment that supports both physical and social-emotional development.
