The Mayo Clinic Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a board-certified/eligible Brain Injury physiatrist to join an established subspecialty practice. Clinical practice opportunities are available across the continuum of care for patients with acquired brain injury or illness. Highlights: Inpatient and outpatient acquired brain injury care in adults Faculty position with the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as practicing physician in interdisciplinary teams for acute care consult service, CARF-accredited rehabilitation unit, and CARF-accredited comprehensive outpatient program Standard scheduled with intermittent weekend and holiday coverage Clinical supervision and education of brain injury medicine fellow, PM&R residents, and medical students Option for involvement in Neuro rehabilitation clinic and Spasticity Clinic depending on candidate experience and/or interest We are seeking innovative, patient-centered candidates for this academic position with broad opportunities in clinical practice, research, and education.
