Assists in providing healthcare services to patients/families ranging from direct patient care, vision screening, hearing screening, vaccine administration, developing and implementing health education materials and programs for specific children/family populations. Uses Material Management's Systems for ordering and maintaining clinical and office inventories/supplies. Manages internal program charges and coordinates the reconciliation with Patient Financial Services, Materials Management, and dietary. Manages inventory for clinical and office supplies at appropriate par levels. Responsible for oversight and coordination of the administrative activities of the respective area of responsibility for the Partners for Healthy Students program so that the operation runs efficiently. Provides oversight and guidance to school nurses and school personnel with intake, eligibility, admission and referral processes for the PHS program. Oversees and coordinates patient scheduling with school nurses, parents and school personnel. Responsible for responding to parent/patient inquiries and community inquiries regarding services and billing. Uses sensitive customer relation skills in managing parent/patient/community inquiries. Coordinates inquiries regarding services and manages customer relations when charges have been mailed in error. Coordinates inquiries regarding services, determining eligibility and scheduling if appropriate and necessary.
