The Phone Operator position is located at Zangmeister Cancer Center. Requirements

• Must have understanding and experience in handling high volume of calls and routing to appropriate destination, preferably in a medical clinical setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• An understanding of documentation requirements for medical records
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of computers
• Strong communication skills with a wide variety of personalities
• Valid driver’s license in the resident state

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the answering and routing of all incoming calls to the office
• Ensuring that all incoming calls are answered and sent to appropriate destination in a timely fashion
