Duties: The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube
