Phlebotomist – Laboratory - Per Diem - Rotating Shifts
About The Position
The Phlebotomist position is a Per Diem role in a fast-paced hospital laboratory, requiring the drawing of blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians, in accordance with established procedures. This role involves working on-demand as needed, including weekends and holidays, with variable shifts. The position is located at the Westchester campus (formerly Lawrence Hospital) in Bronxville, NY, which is opposite the Metro North Station. Requirements
- Excellent manual dexterity and excellent customer service skills
- Good oral communications
- Basic PC and LIS skills
- Two (2) years prior hospital or SNF experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Experience and expertise in venipuncture technique preferred
