About The Position
INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Hobby Lobby, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system has a great opportunity for a Phlebotomist in Oklahoma City, OK. In this position, you’ll work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm with our Primary Care team providing exceptional care to those who have entrusted INTEGRIS Health with their healthcare needs. Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Nice To Haves
- Medical training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Greets customers appropriately and treats all customers in a courteous manner
- Ensures all phlebotomy and other specimens are collected accurately and on time
- Responsible for completing requisitions accurately
- Maintains required records and documents
- Performs basic clerical duties; filing, faxing, preparing mail, and answering phones
- Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities; disposing of biohazard containers, stocking and ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned, within scope of position
- The Phlebotomist reports to the Department Manager or Director
- This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
- This position requires exposure to hazardous waste products during phlebotomy procedures.
- Risks associated with driving and making visits to field sites (home visits).
