About The Position
The Phlebotomist at Vista Specialty Hospital is responsible for performing venipunctures on hospital patients and providing assistance in the Clinical Laboratory as needed. This role specifically includes the collection of blood specimens, such as blood cultures and crossmatch Blood Bank samples.
Requirements
- High School Graduate with phlebotomy training
- Current phlebotomy certification through an approved certification agency (Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- BLS Certification required
- Previous Experience as a Phlebotomist Required
Responsibilities
- Performs venipunctures on hospital patients
