Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing. Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques. Maintains equipment and medical supplies. Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Current Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, AMT or NHA preferred.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Laboratory experience preferred.
