About The Position

What you will do: Receives assignments, obtains required supplies, completes work on time. Completes Stat requests within standard turnaround times. Responses promptly to beeper and/or overhead paging. Verifies that the appropriate specimen has been obtained / received for the test requested. Maintains integrity of the specimen. Work Hours/Shift: • 8 hours per week, 5am - 9am, every weekend. Must be available for EPIC Training during week on day shift. Requirements

  • High school or GED.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • strong phlebotomy skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility necessary for work schedule and patient care requirements.
  • Good command of the English language and medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

  • Nat'l Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
  • Technical training in Phlebotomy Program, 1 year of experience, preferred.
