About The Position
Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a 184-bed acute care hospital in Palmdale, CA, provides high-quality patient care and is part of Southwest Healthcare, a network of five hospitals and ambulatory locations. The hospital is a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), a Fortune 500 corporation operating numerous acute care and behavioral health facilities. The Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) position involves specimen collection and processing, operating under the guidance of the Department Manager and/or Phlebotomy Supervisor and adhering to the policies and procedures of the Laboratory department and the hospital.
Requirements
- General education level (high school)
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1) certificate, which meets the California Department of Health, Lab field services
- Current BLS certification
- CPI is required within 30 days of hire
