Department Details Summary Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients; explains procedures to patients and collects information from them in a professional manner. Job Description Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients; ensures patient safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• BLS training required.

• Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial.
