About The Position
SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO $5,000.00 Under the direction of the Lab Support Supervisor, the phlebotomist is responsible for the collection of venous, arterial, and capillary blood specimens from patients, and transporting said specimens to the laboratory. The incumbent also performs clerical duties and related duties as assigned. Position duties affect direct patient care by ensuring proper techniques and protocol when collecting blood specimens.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- BLS (within 90 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- ASCP or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Medical Terminology (preferred)
