Job Summary: Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently on patients of all age groups following proper patient identification procedures. Responsibilities include generating lab orders for outpatients and reference labs, prioritizing workload for maximum efficiency, and providing phlebotomy support to the Emergency Department as needed.
Requirements
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician
- 40 hours didactic instruction; 50 hours practical training; 50 venipunctures and 10 skin punctures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented
Responsibilities
