The Phlebotomist, under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Coordinator, is responsible for performing venipunctures, capillary blood specimen collections, point of care testing (POCT), and related procedures in accordance with hospital and Department of Laboratory Services policies. This role also involves assisting in the training and guidance of phlebotomy students and new employees, encompassing the internal functioning of the Department and its integration into the overall Northwest Texas Healthcare System. The Phlebotomist is expected to support an organizational culture of Service Excellence and apply these standards to all customer groups. Universal Health Services, Inc.
