About The Position

We are seeking friendly and energetic Phlebotomists/Processors with excellent people skills to enhance our team. Ideal candidates will have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting both our patients and our team’s goals. In this role, you will be responsible for: Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms. Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening. Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information. Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity. Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance. Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification (MA-P) is required
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and team members
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Previous on-the-job phlebotomy experience is preferred
  • A consistent work history and reliability are valued and strongly preferred
