About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Phlebotomist to join our team in a float position. This role offers variety and the opportunity to work in multiple clinic settings, providing care to patients of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics. We’re looking for a positive, adaptable individual who enjoys learning new things and thrives in different environments. Dependable transportation is essential, as travel between clinics around the valley is required. Ideal candidates will bring a can-do attitude, communicate effectively, and work well as part of a team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, offering guaranteed hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact across our network of clinics. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of on-the-job phlebotomy experience
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to adapt to changing needs
  • Dependable transportation for travel between clinic locations
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Positive and reliable team member with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues
  • Eager and fast learner who thrives in a dynamic setting
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality care

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn pediatric draws

Responsibilities

  • Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.
  • Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening.
  • Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.
  • Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
  • Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
  • Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
