About The Position

OMRF's Philanthropy Department works to build meaningful relationships that support groundbreaking biomedical research and strengthen the foundation of our mission. Our team connects donors, community partners, and future advocates with scientists and programs that make OMRF exceptional through their discoveries. From donor engagement and stewardship to events, communications, and community outreach, OMRF's Philanthropy Department ensures supporters feel valued and closely tied to the impact of their generosity. The Philanthropy team is seeking a motivated, positive, self-starter intern to assist with various facets of philanthropy, including but not limited to: Writing notes, making phone calls, and conducting new donor research Assisting with tours of labs and facilities Supporting the OMRF Teen Leaders in Philanthropy Program Assisting with annual donor events and the Annual MS Advocate Award Dinner Performing general office administration (e.g., filing, scanning, copying)

Requirements

  • Must be working toward a bachelor's degree at an accredited university in nonprofit, public relations, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.

  • Previous exposure to philanthropy/nonprofits is a plus.

  • The ideal candidate will be available 1/13, 2/10, and 3/10 to assist with in-office duties.
