Position Overview Rare’s Development team seeks to expand our donor base and enhance our use of Salesforce to track engagement with supporters and their funding opportunities. We are seeking someone to support the frontline fundraisers and the operational experts in entering and organizing data. In addition to entering data, this person will learn about moves management, including cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation. The Philanthropy Intern will work closely with Individual Giving and the Development Operations team. An interest in customer relationship management (CRM) and fundraising is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enter meeting notes and proposals into Salesforce records.
  • Clean up data and organize records and households within Salesforce.
  • Meet with frontline fundraisers to discuss their engagements to be tracked within Salesforce.
  • Join team meetings and take notes on frontline fundraisers’ activities and needs.
  • Ability to navigate Salesforce database, Egynte, and other shared portals to access data.
  • Flexibility to support Development Operations, Salesforce administration, prospect research, and individual frontline fundraisers.
