About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Philanthropy Coordinator for our Philanthropy department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Philanthropy Coordinator, you will: Manage the gift entry and acknowledgment process across the system. This includes the timely and accurate entry of gifts and production of acknowledgment letters and receipts using NPSP. Collaborate with the Finance department on monthly reconciliation of gifts and pledges; including the generation of reporting from NPSP; and, at year-end, provide data and documentation to fulfill annual audit and tax-related requirements, for all entities. Process philanthropic fund reimbursement requests, to include the transfer of funds, expenditure tracking and reporting for all entities, while ensuring that contributions and the expenditure of such are managed according to donor intent. Generate ad hoc statistical, operational and financial reports. Assist the Database Administrator with maintaining the structure of the database; and play an integral role on the database clean-up committee, helping to identify, prioritize and implement data clean-up projects. Perform additional Duties as assigned (state fundraising registrations, oversee gift deposit/logging of gifts across Adventist HealthCare, assisting at AHC Philanthropy events etc.) Assist with stewardship efforts (making phone calls, sending notes, etc.) Process CARE contributions, including providing PTO and payroll deduction gifts to the Payroll department, tracking the PTO donations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience required
