About The Position

The Philanthropic Operations Coordinator at Brevard Zoo plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's fundraising and philanthropic programs. This full-time position involves operational support, data management, and logistical oversight of campaign events, all aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the Philanthropy department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in database management and fundraising.
• Proficiency in CRM, preferably Raiser's Edge.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fundraising and donor relations.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or equivalent platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to fundraising and philanthropic programs.
• Manage the integrity and maintenance of the donor database (Raiser's Edge NXT).
• Coordinate communication between various software platforms to ensure data integrity.
• Design and create customized dashboards and reports for tracking key metrics.
• Automate acknowledgment workflows for various donor types.
• Develop and implement automated processes to streamline data integration opportunities.
• Maintain an Acknowledgment Template Library for donor recognition.
• Collaborate with the team to create strategies for accurate data use and collection.
• Train staff on new systems as needed.
• Oversee the import of contact lists into CRM systems for campaign outreach.
• Support logistical oversight of campaign events and troubleshoot issues on event days.
• Manage the onboarding process for new Philanthropy hires.
• Provide day-to-day support to team members and assist the Philanthropic Operations Manager.
