Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with care and professionalism
- Answer phones and respond to customer questions
- Support the front register when needed
- Receive prescriptions and gather patient information
- Enter patient, prescriber, and medication data
- Fill, count, label, and process prescriptions
- Contact prescribers for refills, clarifications, or additional information
- Take verbal prescriptions from prescribers at the pharmacist’s direction
