Pharmacy Technician/OnCall/UKHC - Retail Pharmacy
About The Position
Assists pharmacists in medicine preparation and distribution in a UK HealthCare Retail Pharmacy. Fills prescriptions in a busy retail based setting. May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Requires attention to detail and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Must be reliable and punctual. This position also requires teamwork, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate and be understood in the English language.

- Hired candidate must maintain registration with the KY Board of Pharmacy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- One year previous work experience (preferably in a related field) is preferred.
- Prefer previous pharmacy tech experience or work/classes in medical field.
- General chemistry knowledge, basic algebra, and proficient reading/writing/speaking in the English language, preferred.
