About The Position

This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) Neonate, Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric, and Frail Elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This role supports safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution within an acute care hospital setting. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, this role assists with medication preparation, dispensing, inventory management, and automated dispensing cabinet support while adhering to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and medication safety standards. Requirements

  • High School graduate and computer proficiency required.
  • Training in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience or enrolled in a ACPE accredited pharmacy school program required.
