About The Position

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multiple locations in Southern New Mexico, dedicated to empowering and enriching families, individuals, and communities through quality medical, dental, behavioral health, and educational services for all cultures. The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by managing medication inventory, documentation, performing audits, and ensuring compliance within their scope of licensure. This role operates under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant medication practices across all clinic locations.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in the State of New Mexico
  • National certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Current NM Driver's License and auto insurance
  • Familiarity with medical/pharmacy setting & procedures and brand/generic nomenclature
  • Knowledge of pharmacy inventory management and medication handling
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Excellent math skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships throughout organization
  • Self-initiation and adaptability
  • Adherence to all federal, state and organizational policies and procedures
