Pharmacy Technician - Full Time VytlOne s has an EXCITING, opening for an experienced, full-time, customer focused Pharmacy Technician. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work within one of VytlOne's network of managed clinic-based pharmacies in Borough Park Brooklyn. This full time position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of pay, a generous healthcare benefits plan participation, and 401 (K) Plan with company match. Schedule is as follows: Monday 9am-5:30pm Tuesday 9am-5:30pm Wednesday 10:30am-8:00pm Thursday 11:00am-8:00pm Friday 9:00am-4:00pm The estimated compensation for this role is $24-28/ hr depending on experience.
Requirements
- Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (VytlOne will assist)
- Excellent data entry skills, must be fast and accurate with attention to detail
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
- 2+ years retail pharmacy experience
- Computer experience mandatory
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
- Ability to work rotating schedule between the hours of 8am-8pm, must be open to rotating shifts
