About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician – Warehouse Operations supports a Home Infusion Pharmacy by managing warehouse activities related to receiving, inventory control, order processing, and delivery coordination. This role requires an active Pharmacy Technician license and ensures that all medications and supplies are handled, packed, and distributed in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, company policies, and patient safety standards. Occasional driving and delivery of medications or supplies may be required.

Requirements

Active California Pharmacy Technician license (required).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for delivery duties).
Ability to lift and move inventory and supplies (up to 50 lbs).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy systems.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a home infusion, compounding, specialty, hospital, or warehouse pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of pharmacy inventory management and medication distribution processes preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive medications, IV supplies, and medical equipment from licensed distributors and vendors.
Verify shipments against purchase orders and report discrepancies per pharmacy procedures.
Unpack, label, stock, and organize inventory in compliance with pharmacy regulations and storage requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts, expiration tracking, and audits.
Pack medications and supplies accurately according to pharmacy-generated delivery tickets and patient-specific orders.
Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive, hazardous, and controlled medications in accordance with regulations and company policy.
Prepare shipping documentation, create shipping labels, and coordinate shipments with approved courier services.
Track outbound shipments and confirm delivery completion.
Coordinate delivery schedules with patients, caregivers, nurses, and delivery drivers as needed.
Assist with occasional local delivery of medications and supplies when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
Adhere to HIPAA, USP standards, state Board of Pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
Support pharmacy staff with additional technician duties as assigned.
