Pharmacy Technician Training Program
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking Pharmacy Technician Trainees to join our team for a 14 week paid learning opportunity. A goal of this program is to develop Trainees interested in growing their careers in pharmacy as a licensed Pharmacy Technician. During this program Trainees will be supervised by a licensed pharmacist and have limited responsibilities in the area of practice designated by the Manager. Responsibilities will be applicable to assigned area of practice. Trainees will work full time and be enrolled in a TRC Pharmacy Technician University program to enhance learning for a career pathway as a Pharmacy Technician. As part of this on-site program and enrollment, Trainees complete 424+ hours of curriculum and instruction through online didactic teaching, simulations, and experiential learning. Additionally, NYP’s Pharmacy department covers the cost of this program while Trainees are employed with us. Location: Weill Cornell Medical Center, upper east side, Manhattan Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm Location: 56-45 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355 Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm Please note: - this program's application is open to candidates that are not yet certified by the PTCB or NHA.
