About The Position

Work Schedule : 100%, Overnight shift. Hours available 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Various schedules available. You will work at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to: Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records. Provide exemplary assistance to interdepartmental team members with their pharmacy needs. Be a self starter! Have exceptional time management and prioritization skills when managing multiple competing priorities in a busy work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Required Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred Work Experience 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required Licenses & Certifications Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required Must have valid driver’s license and must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required
  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
