About The Position

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:

Use their compounding skills to prepare medications for our patients at UW
Cancer Center - Johnson Creek
Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, compliance
audits, and financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and
maintain pharmacy records.
Have the ability to work independently, be highly detail-oriented, and a
critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time
within a busy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have sterile hazardous and/or non-hazardous compounding
knowledge and experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required
• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
