About The Position

Sentara is hiring a Full-time Night Shift IV Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Pharmacy at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. Location: Northern Virginia Medical Center- Woodbridge, VA Status: Full Time Shift: Nights - 12 hour shifts Hours: 8:30pm-8:30am. 7 days on, 7 days off, beginning on Wednesdays. Holiday : Rotation The Pharmacy Tech II Clinical performs the technician responsibilities of clinical pharmacy care delivery under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner. This position works in a Sterile IV room for IV mixtures and sterile compounding. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Virginia Pharmacy Tech License (Required)
CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB (Required)
Two years of Pharmacy Experience (Required)

Nice To Haves

One year IV or Sterile Compounding Experience (Preferred)
Inpatient Pharmacy Tech Experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Demonstrates advanced technical skills and ownership of the work area
