About The Position

Pharmacy Technician - Order Management Supervisor Consonus Pharmacy in Nebraska is hiring an Order Management Supervisor to join our team. Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of Nursing Facility and Assisted Living patients and their caregivers. This unique and challenging sub-set of the Pharmacy practice requires a goal oriented, productive and hard-working Leader that can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have the ability to instill a sense of company culture and departmental ownership. This is a full-time position. Hours and days of the position vary and qualified candidates should be able to work day shifts, and some weekends and evenings as a Manager on Duty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is strongly desired.
  • Current State Certified Pharmacy Technician License in good standing required
  • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification in good standing required
  • Minimum 3 years managerial/supervisory experience with direct reports
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the process of order entry is preferred
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to assess situations and problem solve
  • Ability to manage and direct in stressful situations
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Ability to work with other department leads in a matrix environment
  • Ability to motivate a team
  • Experience delegating to appropriate staff

Responsibilities

  • Assess and direct the process and assure timeliness of the daily work flow
  • Coach, mentor and supervise a team of 15 staff members
  • Schedule staff to meet the needs of the department
  • Participate in performance improvement of department
  • Instill a sense of culture and ownership throughout the department
  • Trouble shoot issues that arise within the daily work flow
  • Complete necessary steps to assure nursing home guidelines are followed
  • Maintain a working communication with the Director of Pharmacy
  • Hold weekly supervisor meetings and make other assignments per the needs of the department
  • Manage hiring, training, staffing, and disciplinary actions, with input from Director of Pharmacy and GM, for all employees in the department
  • Develop and complete reports regarding work flow in operations
  • Ability to perform all functions of order entry and triage staff
  • Oversight of relevant communication to nursing homes
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot concerns from the customer facilities
  • Work with Director of Pharmacy to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
