We are looking for experienced and passionate instructors to teach our 15-week Pharmacy Technician Program. Stepful programs are designed to support students at every step of the way, from getting certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board to finding high-quality healthcare jobs. This is a fully remote contract position.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience teaching Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician online, with knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising
- 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician Certification ideally with a Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with digital tools for teaching in either online or blended/hybrid formats
- Experience teaching adult students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Stellar writing and communication skills
- Ability to work 7-10 hours per week per class taught
Responsibilities
- Teach highly-engaging live classes over Zoom twice a week (morning and evenings available).
- Grade student projects and provide feedback as necessary.
- Engage with students daily via email and SMS, inspiring them and guiding them through graduation.
- Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful
- Provide ongoing support, trouble-shoot issues, prepare and plan for future modules, as needed
