About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician III at Franciscan, you will assist the Pharmacist with technical duties related to the medication use process as needed. The Pharmacy Technician III spends 80% or greater of his or her time completing specialized pharmacy support activities. This role is, also, responsible for quality assurance to maintain the integrity of all medications throughout the facility. PRN - Will work at Munster and Michigan City. Fill medication requests and complete required documentation following the organization's policies and procedures. Provide or assist with training for all new pharmacy technicians. Maintain drug and supply inventory in distribution areas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years Pharmacy
  • 2 years Hospital Pharmacy
