About The Position

Assists the pharmacist in providing optimal pharmaceutical care to the patient. Effectively performs the activities and duties of the Pharmacy Technician II position. In addition, the technician maintains competency and is scheduled to work with regular frequency in one or more advanced Pharmacy Technician roles. Advanced Pharmacy Technician roles include: Manages complex inventory decisions Tech-Check-Tech Pharmacy Technician Auditor Technician Instructor/Primary Preceptor Preparing / compounding hazardous medications as a primary job function Working in a practice-specific pharmacy satellite(s) or work area requiring advanced knowledge and skills Compounding Sterile Preparation Instructor/Assessor Serves as a lead technician / super user in pharmacy operations, technology implementations, quality projects, etc. Why Mayo Clinic Mayo Clinic is top-ranked in more specialties than any other care provider according to U.S. News & World Report.
