The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for performing basic pharmacy technician duties including: Working under the supervision of registered pharmacists. Assisting with mentoring pharmacy technician I as assigned. Performing more advanced pharmacy technician duties that may include billing and/or IV Clean Room responsibilities based on site specific needs. May assist pharmacy management with administrative support duties. #LI-EE1
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License.
- Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in current practice environment or in sterile compounding and 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in any practice setting.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years' experience in relevant practice area is preferred
