Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, responsible for data entry, counting and labeling prescriptions, maintaining adequate inventory levels (balance on hand and minimum inventory) of in-date pharmaceuticals in the Outpatient Pharmacy through daily ordering on WAC and 340B accounts and returning overstocks and outdates, clerical functions in the Outpatient Pharmacy, weekly controlled substance count, maintaining current retail prices through daily electronic price updates, proper use of the Point of Sale register, balancing the cash register daily, communication of pertinent information to patients regarding medication therapies, consulting with the pharmacist on DURs and allergies, providing friendly and efficient customer service, problem solving, maintaining personal professional competency, and aiding performance improvement initiatives. Performs any other job related duties requested by pharmacy management.
