We are currently searching for our newest Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Position Details: Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital Location: Clearwater, FL Status: PRN, hourly Shift Hours: 6:30AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-3:30PM, 8:30AM-5:00PM Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No Pharmacy Technician I, under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include: Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction Required Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager. Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License
• Required Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program
• Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager.
