Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
- California pharmacy technician license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a specialty pharmacy or IV preparation experience.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of IV medications (cytotoxic and research medications) under direct supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor and Pharmacist.
- Dispense the appropriate quantities of drugs from the automated dispensing system and account for waste.
- Process retail prescriptions while ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with prior authorizations and co-pay assistance programs.
