Requirements

• High School graduate or GED.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician I, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
• Does related work, as required.
