About Us - Pharmacy The Inpatient Pharmacy is a fast paced, high energy department that works closely with practitioners and nursing staff to provide quality care for patients at Freeman Health System We play a vital role in patient care by ensuring medication availability, delivering directly to the patient care areas and maintaining inventory in medication dispensing machines throughout the system The Pharmacy consists of over eighty energetic, hard-working, compassionate team members Schedule: Full time What You'll Do Ensures medication availability by making required delivery rounds to patient care areas and making special deliveries when requested or required. Follows established procedures for medication stocking, inventory management and patient safety initiatives including scanning and rotation of stock. Efficiently and accurately operates pharmacy medication dispensing systems and serves as an initial support contact for questions from nursing staff. Requirements One of the following: Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy, a submitted application and fingerprinting for registration with the MO Board of Pharmacy, or a current Missouri Pharmacy Intern License. If submitted application is pending upon hire, license must be verifiable within 45 days of hire. Requirements
