About The Position
A Student Healthcare Worker will work alongside pharmacy technicians and staff to learn pharmacy-related duties such as stocking medications, batching IV's, sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, quality control and more. These duties are completed under the supervision of the Pharmacy Technician Manager or Inpatient Pharmacy Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Math and science focus preferred.
- Technician in training license required within 30 days of hire
- Basic math and algebra, computer keyboard use, navigation in windows based programs.
- Microsoft Office, access to computer for remote training, clear communication skills, telephone etiquette, etc.
- Self-starter, people-oriented, able to work in a team and independently, takes pride in work and detail oriented.
