Are you an experienced Infusion (Sterile Compounding) Pharmacy Technician looking for an exciting Full-Time opportunity? Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community since its founding in 1890. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers. Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician III - Infusion, performs both baseline duties (including those of a Pharmacy Technician II) as well as specialized technician duties as determined by departmental leadership. Able to train new pharmacy technicians. Competent to staff in at least two specialized areas/locations as determined by departmental leadership.

Requirements

High school diploma, certificate, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required.
Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy is required.
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in applicable specialized institutional pharmacy areas areas as determined by departmental leadership.
Sterile Compounding experience is also required.
