About The Position

Overview Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision of the Manager, Patient Support Services and indirect supervision of the location pharmacists. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. May assist in orienting and training employees. Job Summary: Assist professional staff with prescription data entry and processing. Assist in the management of the pharmacy inventory. Assist the professional staff in the triaging, processing, staging, and packaging of prescriptions.

Requirements

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum: Pharmacy Technician (required for Mississippi location)
Strong communication skills
Strong organization skills
Requires the ability to stand throughout the duration of the shift
Successful Completion of the Noble Health Services Training Program
Limited lifting up to lift 40lbs

Nice To Haves

Preferred: AS Degree or Higher
Hospital, specialty or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the professional staff in preparation of prescriptions including triaging, data entry of the prescriptions into the computer according to best practices
Assist in the management of the pharmacy inventory, including transmitting, processing and receiving orders
Assist in checking pharmacy inventory for outdates and processing all product returns
Prepare and file inventory and dispensing records for pharmacist signatures and review
Assist in transferring products as needed
Assist in staging, and packaging final products for delivery to stores
Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information
Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Perform other duties as assigned
