The postgraduate year-one (PGY-1) resident pharmacist will participate in an organized, directed, postgraduate training program for one year in hospital pharmacy practice. During this one-year training experience, they will design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapy and hospital-wide patient care initiatives. The resident pharmacist will also assist pharmacy leadership in other hospital wide medication management initiatives through education of health professionals and students, leadership activities, and at least one research project.
